Results in context
Different products. Measurable progress.
A useful result starts with its context: the product, keyword, date and work agreed. Ranking, traffic and revenue each answer a different question.
Ranking
A recorded position for a product and keyword at a particular check. Compare like-for-like observations and keep missing checks visible.
Traffic
Visits or clicks need their own measured source and period. A higher ranking alone does not establish a traffic increase.
Revenue
Sales results require separate evidence and context, including price, stock and other activity. They cannot be inferred from a ranking chart.
What to look for in a case
Ask about the starting challenge, product and keyword scope, work performed, dates and subsequent observations. A meaningful example also explains what changed outside the ranking work.
Find an example relevant to your product
Share your category and primary keyword with the team. Discuss the evidence available for a comparable scope; confidential client data is not made public without permission.
Why results differ
Competition, stock, price, listing quality and changes on bol affect comparison. Historical results are not a forecast or guarantee for another product.
Make the evidence relevant to you.
Discuss your product and the information you need to evaluate an approach.
